  • What do you get with the wedding photography / Videography?
    With our sessions, they are split into two. 1/2 day Our 1/2 day photography starts at half hour prior to the ceremony through till the end of the first dance. The client will end up with a minimum of 250 hi resolution professionally edited photos on a personalised USB stick. They will also receive a slide show of the images. 1/2 Day videography starts and finishes at the same times as half day, and we issue 3 DVDs with a minimum of 60 minutes footage. We also provide a best of short version for use on social media. Full day Our full day photography starts at the bridal preparation at a time agreed by the bride through till the end of the first dance. The client will end up with a minimum of 250 hi resolution professionally edited photos on a personalised USB stick. They will also receive a slide show of the images. Full day videography starts and finishes at the same times as full day photography, and we issue 3 DVDs with a minimum of 60 minutes footage. We also provide a best of short version for use on social media.
  • Why are your prices so low?
    We at Occasions Photography & Videography decided after our own wedding that we thought prices for wedding photographgy & videography were too high. We asked ourselves, how often does that wedding album actually come out, and after doing a bit of research we found it is not that often. We then thought about offering a basic package where we took the photos, made them lookj even better, and gave them to the customer on a memory stick for them to do what they wish. We also looked around at a number of packages from respected photographers, and found they were adding in canvas prints, charging extra for a second person, charging extra for a slideshow of images and lots more beside that. We sat down with a cup of tea and spoke about what we could charge for doing the best we can, it is then we set two packages for full day and half day, and we can manage the extras if the customer wanted. We also know that we are not going to retire off doing this, so we felt that by putting our prices together as they are, we are offering a good package for those who like managing their money, and those who cant afford all the extras that they dont neccesarily want. We invest our income back into the business to enhance what we offer at all times. We dont claim to be the best wedding photographers / videographers around, but what we do do is to give our all, and help our customers in anything they need. Our quotes and invoices are transparent, we show the package value the customer has chosen, any extras, and if needed a mileage allowance.
  • Where are you based?
    We are based in Leicester, at the heart of the motorway network that can get us anywhere in the UK, and we will travel anywhere in the UK. If we do have to travel, we do the first 20 miles for free, then charge 35p per mile thereafter. While we love working close to home, we would relish at the chance of working further afield to broaden our horizons.
  • What about insurance?
    We are proud to be doing things properly. We are registered with Companies House as a limited company, and we hold company liability insurance, and company indemnity insurance. Our idea was that if we were to do this, we would do it properly.

  • What is the cancellation policy?
    For weddings and events, if for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the Photographer will keep the the deposit paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made in writing, signed by the contracted parties, and sent via tracked and signed post. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate and no cancellation fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within five months of the original event date. Otherwise the new date will be subject to current rates if applicable. If we are not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.
  • Can I see some of your work?
    We have to respect the wishes of our clients. We will put as much as we can on here, but if any of our clients wish not to have their event online, then we will not go against their wishes, and keep it password protected.
